Your website is your first impression.

Potential customers will determine within a few minutes whether they want to do business with you, based on the performance, look, and usefulness of your website. In fact, the average users spends less than 40 seconds looking at a page on a website.

"If you think it is expensive to hire a professional to do a job, wait until you hire an amateur." Red Adair

Susan Kilcrease is a professional web designer. With a four-year Bachelor's Degree in an arts-related field, Susan has the training and talent to create a website that puts your business ahead of your competition. The majority of web designers are techies first, who attempt to create art, or to edit templates that other designers make. Susan is an artist first, who, assisted by a team of talented technology professionals, uses technology to create a unique one-of-a-kind online presence that will impress your customers. Susan writes:

"Web Design feels a lot like performance to me. Each client has a specialized audience viewing their unique website, a message wrapped inside of art which mixes information with emotional response. People make purchase decisions based on a combination of information and emotion, and a good website should embrace and take advantage of these subtle ideas that artists instinctively know."

Whether you are looking for a web designer to develop a new website, or update your current website, Computer PRO's web design team can develop a website that will make you stand out against your competition. You will love your web design from Computer PRO.

Do you have specific needs in your website, such as a checkbox form, a website to download music, shopping cart, have a video-conference, or just need a simple online presence? Perhaps you are a non-profit, or an organization that needs to place downloadable information on your website. Possibly you realize that you need a website, but have no idea what you need--or what the website should look like. Maybe you are extremely busy with your business and just don't have time to spend two weeks building a do-it-yourself, amateurish-looking website. Computer PRO web designers are experts at assisting you to develop what you need, and specialize in capturing the real personality of the business, and of your unique client base. We know what web design industry trends are in place, (such as smartphone and tablet access), and keep current with software and best practice for websites today. Computer PRO can set up a Facebook page that automatically posts on Twitter and link it to your webpage. We are experts in the huge impact of social networking, and how it is used in business today. (Did you know that there are over 120,000 people on Facebook within 25 miles of Beaumont, TX?) We can also set up a blog for you and link it to your website if you like--as well as to connect it to your facebook and Twitter accounts. Social networking and blogs are free, and should not be ignored in a website today.

Getting Your Website Found

You may only require a website to refer your clients to, and will not need marketing. However, if you need your website to be competitive in the search engines, Computer PRO web designers have the skills and experience to develop the correct keywords for your website and to market your website either locally in the Beaumont area, or nationally. We can directly research your competitor's websites, and note what keywords are embedded into their website's code, and use this information in a search engine optimization campaign. Additionally, we can either teach you to market your webpage through Google Adspace and Facebook ads, or do it for you.

More questions?

How Much Does a Website Cost?

A website's cost is determined by how complicated it is. Your customers are unique, and what you need your website to do is unique. Hhow much updating you will later need on your webpage and your budget are unique. A simple webpage with just a few pages and no Flash (such as the moving sections at the top and side of this page) could cost as little as $500, while a complicated site with Flash, a secure shopping cart, video conferencing, and checkbox forms could cost as much as several thousand dollars. Our policy is to be paid 50% at the beginning, and the remainder once the webpage is online and approved. We can work within your present budget to create whatever you need.

How Long Will It Take to Build My Webpage?

The amount of time required to build your website depends on how complicated it is, and how soon you get your pictures and files to our web designer. If we have everything we need, we can usually get a small website online within two weeks, sometimes a little longer for more complicated webpages.

Will I be able to see and approve my webpage as it is being developed?

Absolutely! Our web designer works very closely with the web design client, and as each section is completed, it is either emailed, or posted online for approval. We can also place a working copy of your developing website on a storage device so that it can be viewed on any computer and approved by a group, such as a board of directors.

I just need my website updated. Can you help me?

We are happy to update webpages. Our web designer will need to determine if the software used to create your original website is compatable with our software (Adobe Master Collection) to determine if we can edit and upload the edited pages. Often it is faster and less expensive to build a new page and link it to the rest of your website, or to build a new website for you than to edit an older, out-dated one. We will need to see your website to determine this.

What do you need to get started on my website?

In order to get started on your website, we will need to make some decisions together as to needs, design, colors, etc. Then you will need to email us whatever pictures and language you want on your webpage. Webpages are worked one section at a time, so it is possible to send part of the pictures, and send them along over the time it takes to develop the website.
